If you are familiar with our character development videos, you know that we have shared stories of prominent adult figures in our 1st-grade episodes in the past. We have taken a slightly different approach with our kindergarten series. We started with 12 episodes about essential classroom citizenship skills, then we focused solely on six character traits (kindness, empathy, respect, teamwork, honesty, and perseverance), then how those character traits are displayed at school, and now we’re highlighting inspiring and relatable kids who exemplified those character traits.
Our final six episodes will be about community members who exemplify those traits – stay tuned!
We hope that by highlighting kids, your students will better identify with them and better understand the character trait at hand. We genuinely believe their stories will inspire your students to show perseverance, teamwork, empathy, and other positive character traits!
