American Red Cross Month

The International Red Cross was founded in 1863 to help protect life and to eliminate suffering. Clara Barton loved this idea and brought it to America. In 1881, she founded the American Red Cross. Since then, they have helped in over 3,000,000 disasters. It’s comforting to know that they’re there if we need them. Learn more about Clara in our 1st/2nd Grade Episode Clara Barton & Empathy!

Women’s History Month

Every year, the President declares the month of March as Women’s History Month. Often, we think of history as something that happened a long time ago. But women are making history today too! In our Kindergarten subscription Perseverance & Amy Bockerstette, learn about the first women with Down Syndrome to compete in a national collegiate athletic championship! If you have the 1st/2nd grade subscription watch Bravery & Simone Biles.

Youth Art Month

Included with each video episode is a printable supplemental material. Each supplemental contains a suggestion on how to create art and much much more! Take a look at one of our supplementals here!

Peanut Butter Lovers Day

While George Washington Carver did not invent peanut butter, he did discover over 300 hundred ways to use peanuts! Learn more about one of our greatest scientists in our 1st/2nd grade episode Curiosity & George Washington Carver on March 1st, National Peanut butter Lover’s Day!
