About the presenter:
Wanting to make a positive impact in children’s lives, Pamela Washington began her career in education in 2000. Over the span of 20 years she served in various roles, including classroom teacher – both primary and intermediate, Literacy Coach, Dean of Students, and Assistant Principal. She worked in partnership with fellow educators and families to identify, address, and disrupt inequities prevalent in schools today. Currently, she serves in the role of Principal at Renton Park Elementary, where one of her goals is to ensure every student is seen and celebrated for who they are.
